  Very nice wildlife sanctuary. I've been a couple times before and there seemed to be more activity (birds and damsel flies, lizards, etc). Still didn't see an alligator but several other visitors asked me if any are there. Since the signs says they are I assumed there are but it was so darn hot they were probably in the water. I like the main Ding Darling better because there seems to be a bit more nooks and crannies and more variety of animals, especially birds. Although, going there on sunny mid-days can also make it difficult to see wildlife. All in all though better than where I live as far as wildlife variety.
