  We stayed on Sanibel Island Florida for one week.What a great location and a slower pace of life. Nice white sand beach, warm water and many tropical plants. We picked the Sanibel Inn for our stay Sanibel has many types of lodging on the island to choose from. Many things to see the historic light house or the city pier to watch the daily catch come in.Just go to this island you will enjoy every minute of it

  One of my favourite, if not THE favourite beach I've ever visited. Plenty of accessibility and parking. Glorious white sand and clear blue sea.
  
  The last time I was here I spent the morning sunbathing and dipping my toes in the sea and in the afternoon watched a storm form out in the Gulf. It was amazing to sea such a natural spectacle with dark clouds and thunder on the horizon whilst you're still basking in the sun. It took about an hour and a half before the temperature dropped and the beach clouded over. That was when it was time to head back to the car!
  
  I'm from the UK and have made several return trips to Sanibel, Naples and Fort Myers. Brilliant for a relaxing beach holiday but without being too touristy.
